SHORT BIOGRAPHY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Kerim K\u00fcr\u015fat \u00c7EV\u0130K was born in Karaman (Turkey) in 1985. He attended to S\u00fcleyman Demirel University (Isparta, Turkey) and obtained his B.S. in Electronics and Computer Sciences in 2007. He graduated from Sel\u00e7uk University (Konya, Turkey) with M.S. in 2010 and Ph.D. in 2016 in Computer Engineering. During his graduate studies, he worked as a lecturer in Computer Programming Program in Nigde University where he became assistant professor in 2017. in 2018, he joined the Department of Management Information Systems in Akdeniz University (Antalya, Turkey) as an Associate Professor. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in artificial intelligence, image processing, biomedical, machine learning, computer-aided detection, medical informatics, data mining, mobile programming and computer vision. His current research interests are in applications of deep learning in biomedical, management and agricultural sciences. Dr. \u00c7evik has authored papers in international journals, delivered talks in scientific conferences, authored book chapters.\nAssociate Professor and AI Researcher with over 15 years of experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Recently completed a Visiting Researcher tenure at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) aimed at developing real-time automated tissue perfusion tracking systems. Author of numerous peer-reviewed publications with 600+ citations and an h-index of 13. Extensive experience as a peer reviewer for top-tier journals. Research focuses on advanced hybrid models (Swin Transformers, U-Net) applied to biomedical imaging and critical healthcare technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
